The UK Road Safety Network Meetings and Events are arranged around the UK and can be either formal or informal or indeed a mixture of the two.
Generally they take place over a two hour period either gathering for breakfast 8.00a.m. until 10.00a.m. or lunch 12noon until 2.00p.m,.
Mostly there is no standard fee charged for attending these gatherings the only costs to the individual being what they order to eat and drink and is settled in person before leaving.
Those wishing to attend are asked to register beforehand which indicates that it is viable to run the session and also allows us to give an idea of numbers to the venue being used.
Such gatherings provide an opportunity to maintain contact with friends and colleagues; to exchange and to share information about current working practices in our ever changing world of delivering safer roads, vehicles and road users.
Whether still working, retired or moved into another field of activity these gatherings are open to any person registered as part of the UK Road Safety Network or seeking to be so and are always open to those who are or have worked in the public, private, commercial or voluntary sectors. Those attending are welcome to bring partners or other colleagues as long as they are notified in advance..
The Lunch scheduled for Tuesday 22nd September in Exeter has been postponed until 2021
