A range of different network style events are arranged around the UK
RATIONALE
They say of any formal event –
“that most experiences and knowledge is gained from networking during meal times and at the end of the day.”
Whilst within these networking events there may be a relevant speaker invited to meet the needs of the attendees – the emphasis is on time to engage in conversation with people.
TIME FRAME
Taking place over a two to three hour period either gathering at an appropriate time for:
breakfast,
mid morning coffee,
lunch,
afternoon tea,
evening networking
STRUCTURE
For the most part these are informal gatherings. The details for each will explain who should attend
They provide an opportunity to maintain contact with friends and colleagues and indeed former colleagues in order to exchange and share information about current working practices in our ever changing world of delivering safer roads, vehicles and road users.
Some of the events will be open to everyone whereas some may be for a specific group of people (i.e. driver trainers, road engineers, road safety officers etc)
FREE TO ATTEND
There is no standing charge made for attending these two/three hour gatherings – the only costs to the individual being what they order to eat and drink and is settled in person before leaving.
(Any change this practice it will be within the details of the event)
REGISTRATION
Those wishing to attend are asked to register beforehand which indicates that it is viable to run the session and also allows us to give an idea of numbers to the venue being used.
FORTHCOMING EVENTS
There are currently no Network Events programmed but dates for 2023 will appear here soon
